We collect Customer Information directly from our Customers when they subscribe to our services. For example, when you subscribe to our service or use our Services, we may collect the Customers’ company name and address, password, email address, telephone number and associated interests. When a Customer sends an email to us asking a question, reporting a problem or submitting feedback, we may also collect such Information that the Customer submits to us. We also collect other Information that Customers choose to provide us, for example the content of a message that is submitted through our Site or Services.
If you decide to become a paying customer for the Services, Zoomin may collect additional information from you, including but not limited to billing and account information for credit cards other payment systems, as applicable, and share this information with Zoomin’s billing and payment processor(s). Zoomin does not store credit card or payment card numbers after they have been forwarded to its billing and payment processor(s), unless it is necessary for providing the Services.
UPDATING AND ERASING CUSTOMER INFORMATION
You may correct or update the Information you have provided to us by updating your Information in your account or by sending an email to email@example.com. You may also request to deactivate your account following the end of your contractual relationship with Zoomin by emailing us at firstname.lastname@example.org.]
Our primary goals in collecting personal information are to provide you with the products and services made available through the Services, to communicate with you, and to manage your registered user account, if applicable. When you use the Services, we may ask for Personal Information, which is information that identifies an individual or relates to an identifiable individual. “Personal Information” may include, but is not limited to, your name, company name or affiliation, password, email address, telephone number and associated interests.
Furthermore, Zoomin collects the email addresses of people who communicate with Zoomin via email, create accounts or post a public question on a website or forum. When you post content on or through the Services by way of public posts or survey information etc., please keep in mind that any Personal Information you post may be viewed by others.
Zoomin may also receive Information about you from our Customers with which you have an account, service relationship or transaction history. Such information may include the relationship you have with that Customer, for example whether you are an employee or a customer of it. Furthermore, Zoomin may receive Personal Information from third parties when you authorize such third parties to authenticate or identify you to Zoomin or sign in to the Services using credentials from a third-party service.
Zoomin and our partners, affiliates, or analytics or service providers, use technologies such as cookies, beacons, tags, and scripts, to analyze trends, administer the website, and track users’ movements around the Site or the Services. We may receive reports based on the use of these technologies by these companies on an anonymous and aggregated basis.
Zoomin may also collect Information through your interaction with and use of the Site or Services, which does not reveal your specific identity or does not directly relate to an individual. Such information may include, but is not limited to, IP addresses, the date and time of your visit, browser type and device information, referral URL’s, language information, application usage data, demographic information, the domain from which you are visiting, data collected through automated electronic interactions, and statistical and aggregated information in respect to your usage and browsing of the Site and the Services. We may record the page you visited, track your path through the Site, referral data, the type of browser you are using and the type of operating system you are using. Except as set forth herein, we do not use this Information to personally identify you, but rather use it to monitor the use of the Site and the Services, including for (i) technical administration for the Site and (ii) to help determine which users have access privilege to certain content, services or recourses that the Company offers, estimate and report total audience size and traffic, help combat fraud and abuse and provide analytics and reporting in respect to the use of the Services. If we combine such other information with Personal Information, we will treat the combined information as Personal Information.
The Information we collect from Customers and Other Users are used for the following purposes:
Contacting you and responding to questions and comments Customers and Other Users may send us. For instance, if you contact us by e-mail, we will use the Personal Data you provide to answer your question or resolve your problem and will respond to the email address from which the contact came.
Analyzing use of our services. To better understand how Customers and Other Users access and use our Site and Services, both on an aggregated and individualized basis; and to measure and analyze the effectiveness of the services features and offerings, advertisements, and e-mail communications, and to improve them when necessary.
Content Improvement. To help us to better customize the content, information, website experience, marketing, or promotional materials provided to Customers and Other Users on our Site and continuously enhance the user experience.
Legal compliance. To comply with applicable legal obligations, including requests from law enforcement or other governmental entities.
If you have signed up to our newsletter, we may use your contact information to send you promotional information and updates regarding Zoomin and its products and services. You may unsubscribe from our newsletter by clicking on the “unsubscribe” link provided at the end of each newsletter. You can also email email@example.com to update your email address, or to request that we delete your email.
If you are using our Services, Zoomin may contact you via any email address you provide to us with transactional or relationship messages such as account status messages, security updates or notifications of changes in the terms of your account or the Zoomin Services. These types of transactional or relationship email messages are not optional.
Zoomin may share, as it sees fit, information that you voluntarily make public, including information that you post on any blogs, message boards, chat rooms or other similar forums, whether or not such forums are owned by Zoomin. Since such publicly shared information can be accessed by the public and used by any member of the public, such use by third parties is beyond the control of Zoomin.
If an Other User uses the Services or the Site. under an account with one of our business partners, we may share certain Personal Information as well as non-personal information with this specific business partner.
We may share Personal Information to respond to subpoenas, court orders, or legal process, to establish or exercise our legal rights, to defend against legal claims or in such circumstances where, in our judgment, disclosure is required or appropriate in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
We may share Personal Information if we believe it is necessary in order to investigate, prevent or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the physical safety of any person, violations of our various terms of service or as otherwise required by law.
Furthermore, if you chose to subscribe to the Services, Zoomin may use the services of a credit card processing company to bill our users for subscription fees.
We also display personal testimonials of satisfied Customers on our website in addition to other endorsements. With your consent, we may post your testimonial along with your name. If you wish to update or delete your testimonial, you can contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Your Zoomin accounts may be secured by member-created passwords, in which case reasonable precautions and encryptions are used to ensure that your account information is kept private. You are responsible for keeping your passwords confidential. We ask you not to share your password with anyone and recommend that you keep your sensitive information private and secure. To the extent legally permitted, if the Personal Information or any other information is accessed by an unauthorized third party, we will not be responsible for any direct or indirect damage caused as a result of such unauthorized access. We cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage that arises as a result of the user’s failure to protect any information.
No data transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. Although we use commercially reasonable efforts to protect your information against unauthorized access, or unauthorized alteration, disclosure or destruction, we cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit to us. You acknowledge that any transmission will be at your own risk.
To request removal of your Information from our blog or community forum, contact us at email@example.com. In some cases, we may not be able to remove your Information, in which case we will let you know that we are unable to do so and why.
If your personal information changes, or if you no longer desire our service, you may correct, update, amend, delete/remove, ask to have it removed from a public forum, directory or testimonial on our site or deactivate it by emailing our customer support at firstname.lastname@example.org or by contacting us by telephone at the contact information listed below. We will respond to your request within a reasonable timeframe.
We will retain your Information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. We will retain and use your information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
Please be aware that Information that you provide to us or that we obtain as a result of your use of the Site or the Services may be processed and transferred to all countries in which Zoomin has offices and operations and thus be subject to applicable law. This information may also be processed by staff or third party service providers working for us or for one of our suppliers or business partners. The privacy and data protection laws in such countries may not be equivalent to such laws in your country of residence. By using the Site or any of the Services, or by providing us with your information, you consent to this collection, transfer, storage, and processing of information to and in other countries.
We do not knowingly collect or solicit Personal Information from children under the age of 16 or knowingly allow children under the age of 16 to register for the Zoomin Site. If we learn that we have collected or have been sent Personal Information from a child under the age of 16, we will delete that Personal Information as soon as reasonably practical. If you believe that we might have collected or been sent Personal Information from a child under the age of 16, please contact our Support team as soon as possible.
Occasionally, at our discretion, we may include or offer third party products or services on our Site. These third party sites have separate and independent privacy policies. We therefore have no responsibility or liability for the content and activities of these linked sites. Nonetheless, we seek to protect the integrity of our Site and welcome and feedback about these sites.
